We’re a fun & friendly choir for people who are Carers & their friends! We learn up-lifting music each week, and enjoy the company of other carers.
The songs are all taught by ear in 3 or 4 part harmonies, and song suggestions are taken from the choir members each term!
The choir is a form of respite for Carers, which creates a supportive and friendly environment, as well as building something we are all proud of.
We have fun rehearsals each week and have enjoyed joining the Phoenix Community Choirs for their joint concerts throughout the year; we sang in St Giles Cathedral in December 2019 for the Ronald McDonald House Charity, sponsored by Edinburgh Rugby, as well as having sung at Edinburgh Light Night, and our Spring & Summer concerts in Central Hall & Leith Theatre. We also had a great time singing at the opening of the new Vocal Carers Charity Head Office!
Carers & Co Choir is a charity which recieves funding from the National Lottery.
