Thursdays, 7.00 – 9.00pm, St Martin’s Church (Directions)

Choirs are a great way to get singing with others in a friendly atmosphere. You don’t have to audition, and all of the music is taught by ear so don’t worry if you can’t read music.
We have a range of voices in the choir from complete beginners to seasoned singers, and we sing a whole range of great music from Jackie Wilson’s Higher & Higher, to Lady Gaga Telephone, to Sweet Dreams by The Eurhythmics.

Singing with the choir is a great way to improve your voice as we look at technique through singing the songs, without the pressure of solo performance (unless you want to!).  Each term we take song suggestions from the choir – so get your thinking hats on!

Phoenix Community Choir Edinburgh

We’ve had a brilliant year! We’ve just enjoyed singing in St Giles Cathedral in our joint concert with the other Phoenix Community groups for the Ronald McDonald Houses Charity, sponsored by Edinburgh Rugby – and we’ll be singing on the steps of The Dome, George Street, for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.

We’ve also had a great time performing at our joint Summer & Spring Concerts with the other community choirs in Leith Theatre & Central Hall as well as the Edinburgh Christmas Light Night – and we’re looking forwards to what’s in store in the new year!
